LEADERSHIP

    Sheikha Aisha's regional experience gives a wealth of valuable knowledge to the State Media team.

    Graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar, Sheikha holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design and Fine Arts. Having worked at Qatar Foundation and then moving to Qtel before chairing at State Media, Sheikha Aisha understands the Qatari market inside out, guiding her team on every aspect of the work at hand. Her education coupled with her work experience lends to a fresh creative approach that works in the Qatari market.

  • Ebrahim started his career in 1993 in banking as a fresh graduate with an MBA from London Business School.  He was hired at Gulf International Bank excelling with great success as major player and member of Marketing team handling major offshore accounts in the MENA region.

    In 2002 Ebrahim moved to Dubai and Joined Marriot Group International as Regional Executive Manager handling Alliance accounts of the group in Doha and Kuwait.  This same role had him move to Kuwait where he successfully signed major strategic accounts in the oil and gas sectors for Marriott Group International.  

    In 2006 Ebrahim decided to fulfill his long time dream of opening a creative boutique offering multi disciplinary areas, mainly in Marketing Communication, Interior Design, Events and PR.  In a short time OTB Creative Concepts has managed to place itself among the major players in the market and win the reputation for being one of the few creative houses with the ability to provide tailor made services to its  clients.

    Through his passion for Art and his love in exploring new creative concepts, in 2010 he took his vision further and created a unique and original concept that brings Art, Fashion and Food together. Ebrahim turned a historic house in a prime location in Kuwait into a destination where locals and visitors feel at home and have a unique experience of fulfilling all their senses. The birth of FA Gallery, FA Boutique and FA Dish has added another dimension to his career.  

    With diverse experience in various disciplines including Finance, Management, Creative, Marketing and Art and with his roots being Bahraini , Ebrahim holds the understanding of what people want in this region and takes a proactive approach at delivering results and filling gaps in market.

  • Monzer El Samad oversees the day to day activities of State Media.  After university, Monzer was convinced that the world needed more creative and left-brain-thinkers. Thus began his love for advertising.

    The following years saw Monzer play different roles within the spectrum of television and advertising, from being a Producer at Future TV, to weaving his magic from behind the camera as the Director at Kuwait TV. This was followed by a stint at Direct Media Kuwait and DDB Dubai as Head of Creative, where he produced award-winning work for clients such as Pepsi, Sony, Clorox, Villa Moda and Johnson & Johnson amongst others .Monzer was the regional creative director for O2 marketing communications looking after 5 different markets and produced excellent work for clients such as Etisalat , Nawars, Abu Dhabi municipality, Dubai Chamber , CDA ..etc

  • Rala Ajakie has joined State media as client Servicing Director from its inception.  Starting her career in Montreal Canada, where she worked for music station Musique Plus, she started her career as a casting Director and quickly became a producer.  From there she went on to work at CNN, where she worked on the popular World Report.  After working in the United States for five years in marketing roles, she moved to Dubai where she graduated with an MBA from the American University of Sharjah.  Since then Rala has held positions in Client Servicing at the Capital Club and advertising agency Entourage and brings an international perspective to State Media.

    He has worked with BBDO Beirut for 7 years where he worked on top brands such as VW, Audi, Infinity, FTV, Blom, Fransabank,Canar, OTA, Snickers, FDC, ...and others. In 2010 he moved to BBDO Doha managing the Creative profile of Qtel, Asian Cup, Qatar Foundation, Musheireb, Doha Land, and many others. In 2014 Mazen joined the State Media team bringing his extensive multinational advertising experience to the table, where he handles the creative profile of all our clients such as Tarsheed, Kahramaa, Enterprise Qatar, Qatar TV, Laureate University KSA, Salam Stores, Al Obeidy Group, State Holding, Injazat, IPPF, Le Macaron, Labregah – Qatari Diar, Waseef – Barwa City, AL Asmakh, Ooredoo, Mozaic TV and many others...
